The Making of Ghostbusters Gear

The neutrino wand was purchased (Mattel) and modified to go with a home built proton pack. To make the pack, I started cut out layers of rigid foam, and the decorated it with a metal pan, pipe bits, a liquid paper bottle, and other greebles. The bumper was made of wood and MDF board cut and glued together. Most of it was then coated with wood filler and plaster of paris. The wand was taken apart so that I could replace the two slide switches with toggle swithes and add a wire from the speaker to the pack where I have an amplifier and more light tied in to the wand's toggle switches. For the lights on the cyclotron, I used a 6 way LED follower, and just zeroed out two of the LEDs.
